SNAKE:
In the game of Snake Pit you are a big-green snake with quite an appetite.
Your objective is to eat as many maniac mice as possible without slithering
head first into a wall or yourself. As you begin to eat you will begin to
grow, thus making it harder to maneveur around without crashing into
obstacles. To move on to the next level once you have eaten enough mice you
must collect the magic golden key.
CONTROLS
S : Press the S key on your keyboard to
start playing the game.
P : Press the P key on your keyboard to
pause/resume playing the game.
Cursor Left : Press and/or hold the Left
cursor key on your keyboard to move west.
Cursor Right : Press and/or hold the Right
cursor key on your keyboard to move east.
Cursor Up : Press and/or hold the Up cursor
key on your keyboard to move north.
Cursor Down : Press and/or hold the Down
cursor key on your keyboard to move south.
M : Press the M key on your keyboard to
toggle the sound on/off.
Note : Sometimes turning off the sound on
this java game improves overall performance.
SCORING
Mouse : Each maniac mouse you are successful
in munching earns you 10 points.
Level Bonus : Each golden key colected takes
you to the next level and earns you 200 points.
Extra Life : Each time you reach 500 points
you are awarded with an extra life.
