Sexual Harassment Controversy Leaves Teefa In Real Trouble

Protesters gather outside Nueplex Cinema in Karachi against Ali Zafar

Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 20th July, 2018) Protesters gathered outside Nueplex Cinema in Karachi on the premiere of Ali Zafar starrer Teefa in Trouble.

Ali Zafar’s romantic-comedy movie Teefa in Trouble has been released. The premiere of the movie was held in Nueplex Cinema in Karachi.

A large number of people from the entertainment industry showed up at the premiere.

However, as movie was being showcased inside the cinema, some people were protesting against Ali Zafar outside it. People chanted slogans of 'Meesha ko insaaf do' (Give justice to Meesha) and ‘Ali Zafar sharam karo’ (Shame on you Ali Zafar).

Following the sexual harassment accusations made by singer Meesha Shafi against Ali Zafar, a boycott Teefa in Trouble campaign had gained momentum. A show of it was hence seen outside the Nueplex Cinema last night.
