Agriculture experts advised to cut branches of pomegranate trees during May

Agriculture experts have advised growers to cut branches of pomegranate trees for better nourishment during the current month.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2018 ) :Agriculture experts have advised growers to cut branches of pomegranate trees for better nourishment during the current month. In a statement issued in Lahore, they said that bushes, shrubs and weeds should be removed time to time in order to get good quality production of pomegranate fruit, Radio Pakistan reported.

According to a research published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, pomegranates are rich in antioxidants and can prevent the oxidization of cholesterol in the body.
