Black Gram Certified Seed To Be Provided At Concessional Rate

To enhance yield of pulses, certified seeds of black gram (daal mash) will be provided to growers on concessional rate.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2018 ) :To enhance yield of pulses, certified seeds of black gram (daal mash) will be provided to growers on concessional rate. According to Punjab Agriculture Department soucres on Monday, those who possess 25 acres of cultivable land would be eligible for getting application form in this regard.
Soucrs said the step had been taken on the direction of Punjab Cheif Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. Growers from Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Toba Tek Singh, Vehrai, Khanewal, Gujrat, Mandibahuddin, Kasur, Okara, Pakpattan, Multan, Sahiwal, Lodhran, Muzzafargarh, DG Khan, Rajanpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalnagar, Chakwal and Faisalabad would be eligible to submit applications.
The last date to submit application is February 20 while the approved list be prepared by February 26 and balloting would be done on February 28. Growers could contact on 99200734, 99200752 and 99200774 for any sort of information, sources added.
