Clean & Green Campaign extended to canals in Peshawar

The district administration Peshawar has extended the clean & green campaign to the canals in the district.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Dec, 2018 ) :The district administration Peshawar has extended the clean & green campaign to the canals in the district.

Deputy Commissioner Peshawar Dr. Imran Hamid Sheikh Thursday launched a special drive to clean all canals in Peshawar. Those present on the occasion were included District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Eng.

Sher Dil Khan, Additional Assistant Commissioner Town-I Islah Ud Din, Emergency Officer Arif Khan Marwat and officers of the irrigation department.

He appealed to the people to cooperate with the district administration and avoid throwing waste in canals. The people must cooperate in making Peshawar a clean city, said the DC Peshawar.

The districtadministration under Section 144 has also banned the throwing waste into canalsin District Peshawar.
