Clean & Green Punjab Campaign In Full Swing In Rawalpindi

Clean & Green Punjab campaign launched by Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) was in full swing and all out efforts are being made to make the city clean.

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Dec, 2018 ) :Clean & Green Punjab campaign launched by Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) was in full swing and all out efforts are being made to make the city clean.

According to a spokesman, the teams of Rawalpindi Waste Management Company successfully carried out its operation in UC-25 - Sadiqabad and adjoining areas where waste bags and pamphlets were distributed to highlight the importance of cleanliness. The teams also informed them about the RWMC helpline 1139 where they could register their complain about the cleanliness issues.

Managing Director RWMC, Rizwan Sher Dil also visited different areas to check progress of the campaign and urged the citizens to play their role to make the campaign a success.

On the occasion, Rizwan Sher said creating awareness among the public about cleanlinesswas the main objective, adding that the samplings were also being planted in various areas to enhance greenery in the town, spokesman added.
