Govt's Policies For Agriculture Sector Yielding Results: Ikramullah Gandapur

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th May, 2018 ) :Provincial Minister for Agriculture Ikramullah Khan Gandapur said Thursday the government had made a number of measures for uplift of agriculture and livestock sectors which played crucial role in socio-economic uplift of the country.

He was addressing a farewell party hosted by departments of Agriculture and Livestock in his and special assistant to chief minister Mohibullah Khan's honour. The ceremony was attended by provincial irrigation and sports minister Mehmood Khan, Member Provincial Assembly and Chairman Standing Committee on Livestock and Agriculture Arbab Jehandad Khan, Parliamentary Secretary Zareen Zia, secretary livestock Muhammad Israr Khan, Additional Secretary Shaukat Alizai, DG Livestock Extention Dr Sher Muhammad, DG Research Mir Zali Khan, DG Fisheries and other officials of revleant departments.

Ikramullah Khan Gandpur and Mohibullah Khan in their addresses expressed gratitude to the employees of the livestock and agriculture departments and urged them to continue with same passion and dedication for the uplift of those important sectors.

They said that prudent economic policies of government had started yielding results and would go a long way in making farmers economically self-reliant.
