Mayor Stresses Need For Conserving Water, Planting Trees

Mayor of Sialkot Municipal Corporation Chaudhry Tauheed Akhtar has stressed the need for making all-out efforts for raising public awareness about judicious use of water and maximum tree plantation in the district.

He was addressing participants in an awareness seminar, held here on Friday. He said pollution-free atmosphere was a basic right of everyone and all should come forward to play a role in protecting the environment.

He said that maximum tree plantation could help a lot in providing a pollution-free environment to peoples.
