BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Feb, 2018 ) :Cholistani Cow Milk Competition started here today at Channan Peer, some 50 kilometers from here. According to Director Livestock and Dairy Development Bahawalpur Dr Rabnawaz Kousar, more than 60 cows and livestock farmers from all the division are participating in the three day competition.

He told that the participating cows would be milked on February 21 and February 22 to measure the quantity of milk produced. The winner of the competition would get cash prize of Rs 50000 while second and third runner ups will get Rs 30000 and Rs 20000 respectively. Livestock and Dairy Development Department is providing lodging and fodder for the livestock and their owners.
