Paddy growers advised to carry out pest scouting twice a week

Punjab Agriculture Department (PAD) has advised paddy growers to carry out pest scouting twice a week to control leaf curl virus.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Sep, 2018 ) :Punjab Agriculture Department (PAD) has advised paddy growers to carry out pest scouting twice a week to control leaf curl virus.

A spokesman for Agriculture Department Najaf Abbas said that attack of Leaf Curl Virus could increase on paddy crop during this month so farmers should stay vigilant, Radio Pakistan reported.

He said that growers should seek guidance from Agriculture Department of their respective areas regarding selection of poisons.
