Rains Affect Wheat Cutting Process, Have Good Impact On Sugarcane, Kinnow Fields

Current rains have a positive impact on sugarcane and kinnow fields while wheat-cutting process is affected adversely in the region where heavy rains were recorded.

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2018 ) :Current rains have a positive impact on sugarcane and kinnow fields while wheat-cutting process is affected adversely in the region where heavy rains were recorded.

The hot summer weather was turned pleasant after heavy rains in the region, which also delayed the wheat-cutting season.

Wheat purchase centres were also issuing gunny bags to farmers. The cultivation of sugarcane was continuing in the province while and kinnow plants were growing new flowers due to good impact of light rain.

He said that wheat purchase process had been launched and all-out efforts were being made for ensuring transparency in purchase process and getting required purchase targets.
