Sindh Govt. To Facilitate Agriculture Exports: Secy. Agriculture

Sindh Secretary Agriculture Agha Zaheer Uddin has assured to provide maximum facilities to promote agriculture exports
He stated this while speaking at a meeting with members of Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) here at association's office, said a KATI press release on Friday.
President KATI Danish Khan, Senior Vice President Faraz-ur-Rehman, Chairman and CEO KITE ZubairChhaya, Head of KATI's Standing committee on Research and development Syed Wajid Hussain, Chairman of Pakistan Southern Africa business Forum Rafiq Memon and former president KATI, Gulzar Feroz were prominent on KATI side.
The Secretary Agriculture said the agricultural policy of the province has been finalized and government would focus on investment and export promotion in this sector.
Rafique Memom said that in pharmaceutical, agriculture and seafood sectors Pakistan could increase its exports to South Africa.
He said that there is a market for Pakistani fruits in South Africa because of seasonal difference in both countries.
KATI President Danish Khan said that there is urgent need to take steps to enhance agricultural exports of the country.
He presented various proposals to the provincial Secretary Agriculture.
