Tree Plantation Drive Gains Momentum In Jhang

Tree for Pakistan campaign of Prime Minister Imran Khan has gained momentum in Jhang district.

JHANG, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Sep, 2018 ) :Tree for Pakistan campaign of Prime Minister Imran Khan has gained momentum in Jhang district.

Common people, students, political leaders, lawyers, government officers and ministers all are planting saplings for a better environment in future.

Four ceremonies in this regard were held here on Tuesday, in which tree plantation was conducted by leaders of the district and provincial government officers.

In the first ceremony, held at the office of Cooperative Department, Provincial Minister for Cooperatives Mehr Aslam Bharwana planted a sapling in the lawns of the office.

Provincial Minister for Livestock Faisal Hayat Jabbuwana planted a sapling in the local office of Livestock.

Samra Rubab, superintendent of Darul Amaan, along with her staff also planted saplings in and around Darul Amaan.

In a simple ceremony, Senior Staff Member of Government College for Women Jhang Sadar Madam Asiya Basharat also planted saplings under the drive 'Plant for Pakistan'.
