Businessmen calls for consistent polices to boost exports

Businessmen on Monday have called for consistent policies for the business community to enhance exports and support the national economy as currently, country is facing various challenges due to the failed strategies of previous regimes.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Oct, 2018 ) :Businessmen on Monday have called for consistent policies for the business community to enhance exports and support the national economy as currently, country is facing various challenges due to the failed strategies of previous regimes.

Talking to a news channel, they expressed the current visit of Finance Minister Assad Umer to Karachi would boost the trust of the business community in the government. The business community of Karachi chapter have demanded for frequent visit to Karachi and mitigate the problems of traders and boost national economy.

President Pak Australia Business Forum Pervaiz Madras Wala appreciated the policies of the government and its interest to address the long awaited issue of business community and said that Karachi was the hub of business activities which needs proper attention of the Federal government to increase exports.

Highlighting the importance of Prime Minister's visit to Saudi Arabia, he said Saudi Arabia is a trustworthy and time tested friend of Pakistan. He expressed the hope that Saudi Arabia will invest maximum in Pakistan for the prosperity and development of the country.

Ex-President Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI) Zubair Motti Wala said the Prime Minister Imran Khan's visit to Saudi Arabia would bring fruitful results as Pakistan is seeking alternative assistance against bail out package from International Monetary Fund (IMF). He hoped that the government will succeed in its mission. He appreciated the government's special focus on five industries including textile, leather, surgical, carpets and sports to extend maximum exports on emergency basis to bring out the country from economic crunch.
