China Exports Drop 6.1% To $209.4 Bn In Dec: Customs

BEIJING, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jan, 2017 ) - Chinese exports dropped 6.1 percent in December to $209.4 billion in Dollar terms, official data showed Friday, coming in below expectations as weak demand weighed on the world's second-largest economy.
Imports rose 3.1 percent year-on-year to $168.6 billion in the month, Customs said, while the trade surplus dropped to $40.8 billion.
