Chinese stocks end with healthy gains 17 October 2018

Chinese stocks ended a two-day losing streak with a healthy gain on Wednesday as investors tracked a rally on Wall Street.

Shanghai, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Oct, 2018 ) :Chinese stocks ended a two-day losing streak with a healthy gain on Wednesday as investors tracked a rally on Wall Street.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index added 0.60 percent, or 15.28 points, to 2,561.61 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, rose 0.81 percent, or 10.18 points, to 1,266.55.

Hong Kong was closed for a public holiday.
