Delegation Led By Ambassador Of Holland Calls On Chief Secretary Sindh

Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah has said that the Government had announced 5 years tax holiday for the inverters who are willing to invest in the country and also custom free import of machinery for industrial plants
KARACHI (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / NNI - 13th February, 2019) Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah has said that the Government had announced 5 years tax holiday for the inverters who are willing to invest in the country and also custom free import of machinery for industrial plants.This he said while talking to the Ambassador of Holland Ardi Stois-Braken who called on Chief Secretary Sindh accompanied by the delegation of maritime and industrialist of Holland.The Chief Secretary Sindh noted that Sindh province is enriched with natural resources, skilled workers and 2 operational ports in Karachi which are also attractive for the investors.
He further stated that due to the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the road infrastructure in the province has also improved. "Sindh province has three special economic zones located at ports Qasim, Korangi and Dhabeji" He added.
He maintained that these Special Economic at Zones have capacity to attract more investors and industrialists.
Chief Secretary Sindh further elaborated that various big companies of Holland are working in the province since decades and Karachi has already suitable environment for foreign investment.
The Chief Secretary also apprised the delegation that one window facility is being launched via Sindh board of Investment which will help the investors to start new business in the province easily.Ambassador of Holland Ardi Stois-Braken said that a number of investors of Holland are willing to invest in various fields in the province of Sindh and one window facility will be a great initiative for the investors.
Secretary Sindh Board of Investment Ahsan Mangi, Secretary Industries and Commerce Abdul Haleem Sheikh, Rasheed Ahmed Solangi Secretary Labor, Khalid Mehmood Chairman Sindh Revenue Board and others were also present during the meeting.On the occasion, the Chief Secretary Sindh presented Sindhi traditional Gift Ajrak and Topi to the visiting delegation.
