Environment Friendly Brick Kilns To Be Established Soon

About one hundred modern and environment friendly brick kilns will be established at various parts of the division
SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jan, 2018 ) :About one hundred modern and environment friendly brick kilns will be established at various parts of the division. The Provincial Environment Department will shortly launch over one hundred environment friendly and cost effective technology of brick kilns by using Zigzag Technology in the division.
According to a spokesman of the Commissioner office, all the existing brick kilns would be converted into new zigzag technology in cooperation with the all Pakistan bricks kiln owners association.
He said that improvements in technology and practices could reduce fuel consumption and emissions including black carbon significantly. He said that zigzag technology was being used in Nepal was very close to brick kilns of Pakistan, added that such technology can reduce 70% emissions as well as enhancing fuel efficiency.
