European Stock Markets Steady At Open

London, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Dec, 2017 ) :Europe's main stock markets steadied at the start of trading on Tuesday following strong gains the previous session. London's benchmark FTSE 100 index edged up less than a couple of points to 7,538.48 compared with the close on Monday.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index climbed by a similar amount to 13,314.73 points and the Paris CAC 40 dipped 0.2 percent to 5,409.65. Leading indices in the single-currency area had risen by around 1.5 percent on Monday as US President Donald Trump's tax-cutting plans moved a step closer.
