FCCI Welcomes Appointment Of Rashid Langrial As New FBR Chairman

Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) President Dr Khurram Tariq has welcomed the appointment of Rashid Mahmood Langrial as new Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and hoped that he would not only play a key role in enhancing revenue but also extend maximum facilitation to the taxpayer community
FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Aug, 2024) Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) President Dr Khurram Tariq has welcomed the appointment of Rashid Mahmood Langrial as new Chairman Federal board of Revenue (FBR) and hoped that he would not only play a key role in enhancing revenue but also extend maximum facilitation to the taxpayer community.
In a statement here on Thursday, he said that documentation of the economy was imperative and Mr. Langrial should identify the sectors currently exempted from the taxes and take measures to bring them into the tax net.
He said that extra requirements of revenue should be fulfilled from the new taxpayers. He also invited new chairman FBR to visit and interact with the business community of Faisalabad.
Meanwhile, Senior Vice President FCCI Dr Sajjad Arshad and Vice President Hajji Muhammad Aslam Bhalli have also congratulated Mr. Langrial on assuming the new responsibilities and assured their full cooperation to stabilize the national economy.
