FPCCI Former President Hails Supplementary Finance Bill

Former president of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Mian Mohammad Idrees hailed the Finance Supplementary (Second Amendment) Bill-2019, saying the government has offered maximum relief within the prevailing circumstances
Talking to APP, he hoped that this finance package would generate much needed economic activities in the country and appreciated that focus of present government on the promotion of SMEs sector, which will create more job opportunities.
He proposed the government could lease out state land for new industry setting and recover its amount when it becomes a profitable entity.
He particularly appreciated the tax exemptions introduced to attract new investment in Specialized Economic Zones (SEZs) under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and other industrial units.
Idrees also lauded industrial policy of incumbent government adding that progress and prosperity could be achieved through sound industrialisation in the country.
