Govt Reduces Petrol By Rs8.47 Per Litre On Independence Day

The new petrol price will be Rs260.96 per litre for next fortnight from August 14
ISLAMABAD: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-August 13rd, 2024) Good news for the general public as the Federal government reduced petrol price on the eve of Independence Day on Tuesday night.
The government reduced petrol prices by Rs8.47 per litre. The new petrol price will be Rs260.
96 per litre for next fortnight from August 14.
The high speed diesel was reduced by
Rs6.70 per liter. As a result, the new price of diesel will be Rs266.07 per liter.
These revised prices will come into effect starting from midnight tonight. The reduction in fuel prices is expected to provide some relief to the consumers amidst the ongoing economic challenges.
