Experts on Wednesday called upon the government to take emergency steps for enhancement of export for the betterment of national economy.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Oct, 2018 ) :Experts on Wednesday called upon the government to take emergency steps for enhancement of export for the betterment of national economy.
Talking to a news channel, they said the people have high hopes with new government working under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Former President of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FPCCI), Zubair Tufail was suggesting the government to enhance the export in five sectors including sports, leather, carpets, surgical instruments and cotton. He said the business community was showing keen interest to support the government as in the recent meeting of traders with Prime Minister Imran Khan had detailed discussed and underlined all problems and suggestion.
Tufail recommended that the government discourages imports as the needs of 70 percent people could be easily fulfill through local products.
Mehfooz Arsani, an economic experts said after the subsidiary of the government to industrial sector on gas resulting over 100 industrial units underway to re-run very soon and support to the economy of the country. He appreciated the austerity policy of the government and revealed that in near future, the government would introduce agriculture emergency across the country to provide maximum facility to farmers. New housing programme of government would bring the socio-economic development in the country, he expressed.
