Hong Kong Stocks Open Lower After Wall St Drop

Hong Kong, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2018 ) :Hong Kong shares slipped in the first few minutes of trade on Wednesday, tracking sharp losses on Wall Street as investors fret over the prospect of a sharp rise in US interest rates. The Hang Seng Index fell 0.
49 percent, or 149.38 points, to 30,486.86. And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.53 percent, or 16.53 points, to 3,112.40, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gave up 0.44 percent, or 7.85 points, to 1,796.56.
