Hong Kong stocks edged up in the first few minutes of trade Thursday as investors returned from a one-day break to play catch-up with a regional advance
Hong Kong, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Oct, 2018 ) :Hong Kong stocks edged up in the first few minutes of trade Thursday as investors returned from a one-day break to play catch-up with a regional advance.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.
20 percent, or 49.88 points, to 25,512.14.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.65 percent, or 16.70 points, to 2,544.91 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, dropped 0.68 percent, or 8.65 points, to 1,257.90.
