Hong Kong Stocks Rally At Open After Fed Minutes

HONG KONG, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Augst,2016) - Hong Kong stocks rallied on Thursday at the open after minutes from the Federal Reserve's July meeting showed disagreement on when to hike interest rates. The Hang Seng Index was up 1.
18 percent, or 270.14 points, to 23,069.92. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged down 0.06 percent, or 1.80 points, to 3,107.75, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, slipped 0.14 percent, or 2.92 points, to 2,040.35.
