
Hong Kong Stocks Track Wall Street Rally At Open

HONG KONG, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Augst,2016) - Hong Kong stocks opened higher Thursday morning following a positive lead from Wall Street and after a heavy sell-off in the previous session. The Hang Seng Index added 0.76 percent, or 164.
92 points, to 21,904.04. But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.07 percent, or 2.05 points, to 2,976.41 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, edged down 0.06 percent, or 1.21 points, to 1,933.61.
