LNG Leaks From South Korean Oil Tanker Off Coast Of Chinese Shandong Province - Reports

A leak of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from a South Korean oil tanker occurred on Saturday off the coast of the Chinese province of Shandong, local media reported
The state-run China Central Television (CCTV) broadcaster reported that the leak had taken place at 10.30 a.m. local time (2.30 a.
m GMT) off the coast of the Chinese city of Dongying. Five Myanmar citizens, five South Korean nationals and five citizens of Indonesia were in the tanker carrying out 1,850 tonnes of LNG at the time of the incident.
The provincial authorities are taking all appropriate measures to eliminate the consequences of the accident. An extent of the leak and its cause have not yet been reported. There is also no data on people affected.
