Russia's Lukoil and France's Total have signed a memorandum on natural gas within the Iraqi West Qurna-2 project, Lukoil CEO Vagit Alekperov said Monday

BAKU (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 18th March, 2019) Russia's Lukoil and France's Total have signed a memorandum on natural gas within the Iraqi West Qurna-2 project, Lukoil CEO Vagit Alekperov said Monday.

"We have signed a memorandum on gas. So far, it is a memorandum requiring additional government work," Alekperov told reporters.

Lukoil owns 75 percent of the stock of the West Qurna-2 project. The remaining 25 percent is held by the Iraqi North Oil Company.
