Market Committee Issues Fruit, Vegetables' Price List

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Augst,2016) : Islamabad Market Committee on Thursday issued the daily price list of fruit and vegetables. According to a spokesman of the committee, the rate list of vegetables per kilogram in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar markets is as under: Potato Rs 36, Onion Rs 28, Tomato Rs 55, Ginger Rs 80, Garlic Rs 255, Garlic (China) Rs 270, Lemon Rs 135, Lady Finger Rs 54, Green Zucchini Rs 70, Pumpkin Rs 45, Brinjal Rs 42, Peas Rs 170, Farsh Bean Rs 72, Tanda Walaiti 70, Tanda Desi Rs 75, Cucumber Rs 33, Capsicum Rs 75/55, Green Chilli Rs 34, Cauliflower Rs 88/60, Cabbage Rs 46, Bitter Gourd Rs 50, Spinach Rs 32/20, Turnip Rs 56, Maroo Rs 50, Yam Rs 52, Carrot Rs 98, Chicken Rs 135 and Egg per dozen Rs 99.

Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 125/155, Apple China Rs 200/170, Apple Newzealand Rs 265/230, Banana Pak Rs 80/55, Pear China Rs 160/130, Grapes Sundar Rs 140/120, Grapes Gola Rs 88/65, Gava Rs 78/50, Peach Rs 100/75, Garma Rs 65/40, Mango Chonsa White Rs 120/85, Mango Chonsa Black Rs 68/50 and Mango Ratool Rs 115/75. The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
