
Market Committee Issues Fruit, Vegetables' Price List

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Augst,2016) : Islamabad Market Committee on Friday issued the daily price list of fruit and vegetables. According to a spokesman of the committee, the rate list of vegetables per kilogram in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar markets is as under: Potato Rs 36, Onion Rs 28, Tomato Rs 45, Ginger Rs 85, Garlic Rs 255, Garlic (China) Rs 275, Lemon Rs 130, Lady Finger Rs 50, Green Zucchini Rs 64, Pumpkin Rs 45, Brinjal Rs 40, Peas Rs 145, Farsh Bean Rs 70, Tanda Walaiti 76, Tanda Desi Rs 77, Cucumber Rs 46, Capsicum Rs 88, Green Chilli Rs 36, Cauliflower Rs 90/60, Cabbage Rs 45, Bitter Gourd Rs 45, Spinach Rs 32/22, Turnip Rs 55, Maroo Rs 52, Yam Rs 52, Carrot Rs 100, Chicken Rs 117 and Egg per dozen Rs 102.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 88/60, Apple China Rs 194/160, Apple Newzealand Rs 265/235, Banana Pak Rs 80/48, Pear China Rs 160/130, Grapes Sundar Rs 145/125, Grapes Gola Rs 88/65, Gava Rs 76/50, Peach Rs 92/70, Garma Rs 62/40, Mango Chonsa White Rs 118/80, Mango Chonsa Black Rs 68/50 and Mango Ratool Rs 105/75. The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
