Market Committee Issues Price List Of Vegetables, Fruits

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Augst,2016) : The Islamabad Market Committee on Wednesday issued the daily price list of vegetables and fruits. According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets is as under: Potato per kilogram is Rs 35, Onion Rs 30, Tomato 60, Ginger Rs 80, Garlic (China) Rs 275, Garlic Desi 255, Lemon Rs 90, Lady Finger Rs 55, Green Zucchini Rs 56, Pumpkin Rs 52, Brinjal Rs 35, Peas Rs 160, Farsh Bean Rs 65, Tanda Desi Rs 56, Cucumber Rs 65, Capsicum Rs 85/55, Green Chilli Rs 36, Cauliflower Rs 77/50, Cabbage Rs 55, Bitter gourd Rs 50, Spinach Rs 33/22, Turnip Rs 52, Yam Rs 45, Maroo Rs 36, Carrot Rs 76, Chicken Rs 120 and Egg per dozen Rs 99.

Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 148/115, Apple Gaja Rs 88/52, Apple China Rs 200/160, Apple New Zealand Rs 270/235, Banana Pak Rs 78/48, Pear China Rs 155/125, Grapes 150/125, Gava 74/50, Peach Rs 92/60, Garma Rs 58/40, Mango Najri Rs 68/50, Mango Chaunsa White Rs 92/68, Mango Chaunsa Black Rs 58/45, Mango Ratool Rs 100/75 and Apricot Kabli Rs 192/160. The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
