Mayor Roger For Enhancing Bilateral Relations With Pakistan

Mayor of Bolingbrook-USA Roger C. Claar on Thursday pledged to make all out sincere efforts to enhance social and industrial activities in both 'sister cities'- Sialkot and Bolingbrook.
He expressed these viewss while addressing a meeting of the exporters held at the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) here.
SCCI President Khawaja Masud Akhtar presided over the meeting which was also attended by SVP Waqas Akram Awan and VP Aamir Hameed Bhatti.
He said that the status of "sister cities" would help a lot to promote social and industrial activities besides establishing strong Business-to-Business and people-to-people contacts between the businessmen and people of Sialkot and Bolingbrook.
Addressing the meeting, SCCI President Khawaja Masud Akhtar said "We wish to learn from the experience of Bolingbrook-USA to implement system and growth vision to uplift Sialkot city and business." He suggested active engagements of the business communities of both sides through the chambers of commerce in Bolingbrook-USA and Sialkot-Pakistan which could act as resource base for exchanging information and would serve to promote trade.
