BREST (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 13th December, 2018) Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak told reporters on Thursday that he knew nothing about Russian oil giant Rosneft's alleged plans to withdraw from projects in Iran.
"You should ask Rosneft for comments.
I don't know," Novak said.
Earlier in the day, media reports emerged that Rosneft had decided to withdraw from projects in Iran due to sanctions that the United States had introduced against Tehran, and also due to Rosneft's intentions to focus on expanding its activities in the Russian market.
