The Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited (PMEX)'s commodity index on Thursday closed at 3,427 points; with traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX recorded at 7.818 billion.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2018 ) :The Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited (PMEX)'s commodity index on Thursday closed at 3,427 points; with traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX recorded at 7.818 billion. The number of lots traded was 10,167, said a statement here on Friday. (The data is compiled and released after 24 hours.
) Major business was contributed by gold amounting to Rs 2.990 billion, followed by WTI crude oil Rs1.854 billion, currencies through COTS Rs 1.374 billion), platinum Rs 604.052 million, silver Rs 336.099 million, DJ Rs 264.895 million, NSDQ100 Rs 124.154 million, natural gas Rs 109.663 million, copper Rs 94.603 million, SP500 Rs 38.659 million and Brent Rs27.809million. In agricultural commodities, 9 lots of cotton amounting to Rs 4.298 million were traded.
