Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited's commodity index on Thursday closed at 3,550 points; with traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX recorded at Rs 8.778 billion.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jul, 2018 ) :Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited's commodity index on Thursday closed at 3,550 points; with traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX recorded at Rs 8.778 billion.
The number of lots traded was 12,546, said press release on Friday.
(The data is compiled and release after 24 hours.
) Major business was contributed by gold amounting to Rs 2.851 billion, followed by WTI crude oil Rs 2.011 billion, currencies through COTS Rs 1.235 billion, platinum Rs 1.166 billion, NSDQ100 Rs 609.739 million, silver Rs 441.939 million, DJ Rs 167.829 million, copper Rs 148.619 million, natural gas Rs 80.862 million, SP500 Rs 49.426 million and Brent crude oil Rs 14.330 million. In agriculture one lot of cotton amounting to Rs 0.564 million were traded.
