Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited's, commodity index on Tuesday closed at 3,443 points; with traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX recorded at 7.401 billion.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Sep, 2018 ) :Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited's, commodity index on Tuesday closed at 3,443 points; with traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX recorded at 7.401 billion.
The number of lots traded was 11,296, said press release on Wednesday.

Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to Rs 2.748 billion, followed by gold Rs 1.368 billion, currencies through COTS Rs 1.169 billion, WTI crude oil Rs 1.048 billion, platinum Rs 268.570 million, DJ Rs 247.651 million, silver Rs 223.193 million, copper Rs 210.176 million, SP500 Rs 64.867 million, natural gas Rs 38.194 million and Brent crude oil Rs 13.032 million. In agriculture 36 lots of cotton amounting to Rs17.871 million were traded.
