Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited's commodity index on Thursday closed at 3,585 points; with traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX recorded at Rs 23.026 billion.

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Nov, 2018 ) :Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited's commodity index on Thursday closed at 3,585 points; with traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX recorded at Rs 23.026 billion.

The number of lots traded was 22,403, said press release on Friday.(The data is compiled and released after 24 hours).

The major business was contributed byNSDQ100 amounting to Rs 11.173 billion, followed by WTI crude oil Rs 7.377 billion, currencies through COTS Rs 1.453billion, gold Rs 1.384billion, DJ Rs 812.973 million, natural gas Rs 339.872 million, SP500 Rs 237.814 million, platinumRs 83.438 million, copper Rs 78.603 million, silver Rs 78.148 million and brent crude oil Rs 6.251 million. In agriculture commodities 20 lots of cotton amounting at Rs10.252 million were traded.
