Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited (PMEX)'s commodity Index on Monday closed at 3,877 points
The traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX was recorded at Rs 10.590 billion and the number of lots traded was 13,372, said a PMEX release press on Tuesday. (The data is compiled and released after 24 hours) Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to Rs 6.
277 billion, followed by WTI crude oil Rs 1.339 billion, DJ Rs 1.153 billion, currencies through COTS Rs 769.470 million, gold Rs 518.482 million, platinum Rs 195.053 million, SP500 Rs 182.021 million, silver Rs 88.359 million, palladium Rs 39.676 million, Brent crude oil Rs 14.331 million, natural gas Rs 10.022 million and copper Rs 2.447 million.
In agriculture commodities 17 lots of cotton valued at Rs 35.293 million and one lot of wheat valued at Rs 3.533 million was traded.
