PARC To Organize Exposure Visit For Media

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -5th Sep,2016) : The Directorate of Public Relations of the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) has planned for organizing exposure visits for media to its different research institutions located across the country.
A statement issued by PARC here Monday said, the aim of the initiatives was to involve the print and electronic media in dissemination of research work and development to grass roots level. The other purpose of these visits were to acquaint the media about agri-research and development activities being carried out at these research institutes and labs.
The exercise would enable to disseminate research and development activities, new innovations, technologies and information among stakeholders, it added. It said that the campaign has been launched in line with directives of Senate Standing Committee on National food Security and Research.
From September 6-7, PARC has planned exposure visit of Karachi region electronic and print media group to PARC's National Sugarcane and Horticultural Research Institute (NSHTRI) Thatta and Southern-zone Agricultural Research Centre (SARC) Karachi.
