Peace Treaty to Make Work of Russian, Japanese Firms Easier - Russian Investment Fund

It would be easier for Russian and Japanese companies to work if a peace treaty between the two countries was signed, Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Head Kirill Dmitriev told Sputnik.

VLADIVOSTOK (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 12th September, 2018) It would be easier for Russian and Japanese companies to work if a peace treaty between the two countries was signed, Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Head Kirill Dmitriev told Sputnik.

During the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Vladivostok earlier in the day, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to sign a peace treaty between Russia and Japan until the end of the year without any preconditions.

"We assess the proposal extremely positively, this is a very correct proposal. Of course, it would be easier for companies to work in such conditions [if the peace treaty was signed]," Dmitriev said on the EEF sidelines.
