Petrol Prices Decreased By Rs 8.47 Per Liter, Diesel Rs 6.70 Per Liter

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Aug, 2024) The government on Tuesday decreased the price of Motor Spirit (MS) Petrol by Rs 8.47 per liter and high speed diesel (HSD) by Rs 6.70 per liter.

The price of MS petrol was fixed at Rs 260.96 per liter as against its existing price of Rs 269.43 per liter, said a press release issued by the Ministry of Finance.

Meanwhile, the price of High-Speed Diesel was decreased by Rs 6.

70 per liter as HS- Diesel would be available at Rs 266.07 per liter as compared to its previous price of Rs 272.77 per liter during next fortnight starting from August 14, 2024.

"The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has worked out the consumer prices of petroleum products, based on the price variations in the international market," it said.

The prices of Motor Spirit and HSD for the next fortnight, starting from 14th August, 2024, are accordingly being revised, it added.
