Poland, Russia Need to Agree on Compensation for Contaminated Russian Oil- Polish Minister

Poland and Russia continue their dialogue on the situation around contaminated Russian oil that got to Poland through the Druzhba pipeline and they have to reach agreement on compensation that Russia should provide, Polish Energy Minister Krzysztof Tchorzewski said on Friday

WARSAW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 24th May, 2019) Poland and Russia continue their dialogue on the situation around contaminated Russian oil that got to Poland through the Druzhba pipeline and they have to reach agreement on compensation that Russia should provide, Polish Energy Minister Krzysztof Tchorzewski said on Friday.

Poland, Russia and Germany held talks on the situation around the Druzhba pipeline in the Polish capital of Warsaw on Thursday. Russia presented at these talks a plan for restoring oil supplies via the Druzhba pipeline, under which standard-quality oil should reach Poland on June 9 or June 10.

"Talks on oil transportation were successful. Dialogue continues, we have to reach agreement on compensation, apart from other things," Tchorzewski said, as quoted by the press service of his ministry.
