Princess Stephanie of Monaco was invited to attend the 5th Yalta International Economic Forum (YIEF) in April, Andrey Nazarov, the forum's organizing committee co-chairman, told Sputnik on Saturday

SOCHI (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 16th February, 2019) Princess Stephanie of Monaco was invited to attend the 5th Yalta International Economic Forum (YIEF) in April, Andrey Nazarov, the forum's organizing committee co-chairman, told Sputnik on Saturday.

"We sent an invitation. The answer has not yet been received. There is no confirmation yet, we cannot say anything, but, of course, it would be nice for us if famous people of this level came to visit," Nazarov said during the Russian Investment Forum.

The YIEF is an annual business event and one of the four biggest economic forums held in Russia.

In 2019, the event will take place on April 17-20. The next YIEF is expected to bring together participants from over 100 counties. The status of honorary delegations at the forum will be granted to delegations from France and Syria.

The Russian Investment Forum is taking place on February 14-15 in Sochi. Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency is an official media partner of the event.
