PSX Witnesses Correction After Days Of Bullish Trend

KARACHI, Jan 4 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Jan, 2017 ) : pakistan stock exchange (psx) on Wednesday recorded bearish trend, as the KSE-100 Index dropped by 122.56 points and closed at 48704.99 points.
Similarly, KSE-30 Index also closed 73.26 points down at 26551.34 points, while KSE-All Shares Index fell by 146.82 points. The stock market, which had witnessed highly bullish trend for the first two days of this week, went for correction on Wednesday.
The shares of 423 companies were traded, in which the share value of 176 companies went up and that of 227 went down, while the share value of 20 companies remained unchanged.
The highest increase was witnessed in the share value of Gandhara Industries which accumulated Rs.
38.14 and closed at 800.96 points. The lowest activity was recorded in the shares of Rafhan Maize Products and Pak Tobacco. Rafhan Maize Products' share shed Rs. 340 and Rs. 8250, while Pak Tobacco share value decreased by Rs.
61.55 and Rs. 1317.82. Over 400 million shares were traded on Wednesday, with trading value of Rs. 21.76 billion. Market capital decreased by Rs. 43.04 billion. In future trading, the share value of 129 companies increased and that of 19 companies decreased.
