Oil production in Russia in early October slightly increased from the previous month by 10,000 barrels per day, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak told reporters on Thursday.

"At the level of September, approximately, maybe with a very small increase � plus 10,000 barrels per day from September," Novak said, answering a question about daily oil production in October to date.

On October 3, Novak said Russia's daily oil production in September averaged at 11.35 million barrels. Therefore, average daily oil output in early October may be 11.36 million barrels.
