Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) will send in April a request to the country's Federal Anti-Monopoly Service (FAS) on a joint venture with China's Alibaba, and Russia's Megafon and Mail.Ru Group companies, RDIF CEO Kirill Dmitriev said Thursday

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 14th March, 2019) Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) will send in April a request to the country's Federal Anti-Monopoly Service (FAS) on a joint venture with China's Alibaba, and Russia's Megafon and Mail.Ru Group companies, RDIF CEO Kirill Dmitriev said Thursday.

"We will send a request to FAS on Alibaba in April ...

We are fully on schedule to finalize this deal, all key issues have been finalized. Besides, we can see that it will all be localized, [with] technologies in Russia, the data will be stored in Russia, which is very important," Dmitriev told reporters on the sidelines of the Russian Business Week.

The four companies said in September 2018 they would set up an electronic commerce joint venture based on AliExpress business in Russia and Pandao.
