Deals worth 1 trillion rubles ($15.1 billion) have been signed during the Russian Investment Forum held in Sochi last week, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said on Monday
"When a forum is held, contracts are usually signed. Now, according to Roscongress, such contracts have already been signed for approximately a trillion rubles, which, in general, is very decent, bearing in mind the interest of investors. So this is also one of the important results," Medvedev said at a meeting with deputy prime ministers.
The prime minister has asked his deputies to form a list of assignments based on the results of the forum.
"We have discussed them in various directions: the implementation of projects, and interaction with regions and business, with experts. All these proposals need to be carefully analyzed, and the most significant ones should receive a form of assignment, please prepare them," Medvedev said.
The Russian Investment Forum took place on February 14-15 in Russia's Black Sea resort city of Sochi. The event has brought together a number of officials, businesspeople and experts.
