MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 15th August, 2018) The Russian-Syrian business Council is expected to be held in Damascus on September 7-10, during the international fair in the Syrian capital, Syrian Ambassador to Russia Riyad Haddad told Sputnik.

"The Russian-Syrian Business Council will be held in Damascus on September 7-10, during the Damascus International Fair," Haddad said.

The diplomat noted that most of the participating companies would be from Russia, the meeting would address Syria's post-war restoration.

"Everything necessary for the restoration process in Syria, including reconstruction of infrastructure, power stations, will be discussed. The talks will address everything related to the restoration, and the priority will be given to our friends from Russia and Iran," Haddad said.

The 60th Damascus International Fair will be held on September 6-15. Representatives of 48 countries are expected to take part in the event.
