Russia's Budget Surplus in 2018 Totaled $41.3Bln, or 2.7% of GDP - Finance Ministry

The surplus of Russia's federal budget for 2018, according to a preliminary estimate by the country's Finance Ministry, amounted to 2.746 trillion rubles ($41.3bln), or 2.7 percent of GDP, the ministry said in materials on its website

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd January, 2019) The surplus of Russia's Federal budget for 2018, according to a preliminary estimate by the country's Finance Ministry, amounted to 2.746 trillion rubles ($41.3bln), or 2.7 percent of GDP, the ministry said in materials on its website.

Russia's budget revenues for last year totaled 19.455 trillion rubles, or 102.7 percent of the total federal budget revenues, approved by the law on the budget for the year. The expenditures were executed in the amount of 16.709 trillion rubles, which is 99.4 percent of the total volume of federal budget expenditures under the current law.
